Plan Your Visit to West Spartanburg Church of Christ

We know that visiting a new church for the first time can feel a little uncertain. We want you to feel at ease from the moment you pull into the parking lot. Here's everything you need to know before you come.

When We Meet

Our Sunday worship follows a simple, Scripture-centered order:

  • 9:30am — Gather & Meet & Greet
  • 9:40am — Singing, Prayer & Communion
  • 10:15am — Fellowship Break
  • 10:25am — Sermon / Lesson

Everything wraps up around 11:00am. We'd love for you to stay a few minutes after — we're a small, friendly church, and we enjoy getting to know our visitors.

What to Expect in Worship

Our worship is simple and heartfelt, patterned after what we read in the New Testament:

  • A cappella singing — We sing together without instruments, just as the early church did. You're welcome to join in or simply listen. The singing is beautiful and uplifting.
  • Prayer — We pray together as a congregation, bringing our thanks and needs before God.
  • Communion — We observe the Lord's Supper every Sunday, just as the first Christians did (Acts 20:7). All baptized believers are welcome to partake.
  • Scripture-based sermon — Our lessons come straight from God's Word, designed to encourage and challenge us in our daily walk with Christ.

What About My Kids?

We have classes for kids and infants during our worship time. Your children are welcome to stay with you in the assembly, or they can attend a class tailored to their age. Either way, they'll be cared for and taught from the Bible.

What Should I Wear?

Come as you are. Most folks dress casually — you'll see everything from jeans to slacks. We care far more about your heart than your wardrobe.

We're just minutes from Spartanburg and a short drive from Greenville. If you're looking for Churches of Christ near Spartanburg or Greenville, we'd love to welcome you.

From Spartanburg: From downtown Spartanburg, head south on US-221 / Pine St toward Woodruff. Turn right onto Sharon Rd. The church building will be on your right. The drive takes about 25 minutes.

From Greenville: Take I-85 south to Exit 60 (SC-101 S toward Woodruff). Follow SC-101 south, then turn right onto Sharon Rd. The drive takes about 25 minutes.

Parking: There is a parking lot right in front of the building. Just pull in and come through the front doors — someone will greet you and help you find your way.
