A typical Sunday worship at West Spartanburg consists of a gathering/meet greet & time from 9:30-9:40am, followed by a time of singing, prayer and communion (observed every Sunday).
At 10:15 we have a break for fellowship for 10 minutes followed by a sermon/lesson from 10:25-11am.
We are a small friendly church, and we observe a cappella singing.
We have classes for kids and infants during these times.
We need Jesus to be saved.
Romans 3:23 "All have sinned and fall short of God's glory."
Romans 3:20 "No one will be declared righteous in God's sight by observing the law; rather, through the law we become conscious of sin."
BELIEVE in Jesus Christ as the one and only Savior you need.
John 3:16 "For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life."
CONFESS that Jesus Christ is not only the Savior you need, but He also the Lord of your life.
Romans 10:9-10 "If you confess with your mouth, 'Jesus is Lord,' and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved."
REPENTANCE and BAPTISM for the forgiveness of sins.
Acts 2:38 "Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit."
Romans 6:3-5 "don't you know that all of us who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death? We were therefore buried with Him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life. If we have been united with Him like this in His death, we will certainly also be united with Him in His resurrection."
